Sous Chef
Full time Sous Chef for the Winter 2024/2025 Season
POSITION OVERVIEW:
- Ensure the quality of food being prepared is to recipe standard each and every time
- Items are produced quickly and efficiently with pride and attention to detail
- Keep the work area, utensils and production equipment clean and sanitized
- Re-stock items as needed while on duty
- Perform all opening, closing and cleaning tasks as instructed
- Adhere to Health and Safety policies and procedures outlined in the Health and Safety Program
- Follow safe food handling procedures at all times
- Lead the kitchen team and manage all functions of Kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef.
- Work closely with the Executive Chef to assist in developing menus, Kitchen and Food & beverage processes, etc.
- Work closely with the Front of House Management Team to ensure excellent communication, and flawless delivery of our Food & Beverage services.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience cooking and handling food in a high-volume, casual fine dining restaurant is an asset
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- This position may include lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Able to work flexible shifts
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Punctuality
- First Aid certification is an asset

- $26-28 per hour
- Hourly based share of Great Canadian Heli-Skiing Tip Pool
- Housing is a shared room with 1 other employee and shared washroom with up to 4 employees
