Driving Directions

From Calgary

From Calgary International Airport, head north on Deerfoot Trail (Highway 2), then exit onto Stoney Trail North West (Highway 201). Drive all the way to the Trans Canada Highway (#1 HWY-16th Avenue). Head west on Highway 1—this is the highway you’ll take all the way to the lodge. You’ll pass through Canmore, Banff, Lake Louise, and Golden. Just before you reach Golden you’ll travel through 15 kilometers of the Kicking Horse Canyon. Please use caution in this area. Heather Mountain Lodge is 55 kilometers or 45 minutes west of Golden. You’ll find us on the right (north) side of Highway 1, marked by a lighted sign at the turnoff, as well as a few small signs noting ‘Great Canadian Heli-Skiing’ and ‘Heather Mountain Lodge’ prior. Once you turn off the highway, the lodge is to your left about 100 meters. The entire trip should take approximately 3.5 to 4 hours.

From Revelstoke

Heather Mountain Lodge is 92 kilometers or 60 minutes east of Revelstoke, just off Highway 1. We’re on the left (north) side of the highway and marked by a lighted sign at the turnoff, as well as  a few small signs noting ‘Great Canadian Heli-Skiing’ and ‘Heather Mountain Lodge’ prior.
