Heliskiing Unlimited Vertical!
Hi all,
All good things have to come to an end sometime and this past Friday was the last day of a fantastic heli-skiing season.
The season started off with a huge bang and the powder was DEEP (see the awesome video when pro skiers Dan Treadway and Dave Treadway visited us).
Then for most of late February and into March we had many sunny days which allowed us to experience some superb glacier skiing... and then in the last 2 weeks of the season it’s felt like mid-winter with some big dumps for a metre!
Bookings for this past winter were great too. We had more guests heliskiing with us than ever in our 22 year history! The word is getting out there that Great Canadian Heli-Skiing has the perfect formula for phenomenal heli-skiing: huge snow, skiing in groups of 4 guests, Unlimited Vertical and perhaps the most important thing: highly skilled guides, all with at least 10 years experience, keeping you safe in our winter playground. In a season where there were several backcountry incidents around the province, it’s comforting to know we have the guides whose experience and knowledge keep us safe.
The team here at Great Canadian Heli-Skiing would like to thank all of our loyal returning guests and a big welcome into the family for all our new guests. We hope you’ve developed a powder addiction that sees you coming back to us year after year.
Speaking of next winter, we are very excited as bookings are EXTREMELY strong. In fact, we have already booked out 1 helicopter in all of January and February, except for the week starting Saturday Jan 29th. So as I always say (and it’s even more important now), make sure to contact us to get your preferred dates.
If small groups, Unlimited Vertical, loads of snow, easy access and experienced guides aren’t enough to tempt you to book, how about this offer:
To show our appreciation for you, our returning guests, and to incent you to book for next year, we are offering you this past winter’s rate for the following winter. This would be a saving of around 4% or about $389 on a weeklong package.
As they say in those annoying info-mercials: BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE!
If you tell your friends who have never been here how great heliskiing with us is and they end up booking, we will extend the same deal that you get to them, even though they have never skied with us before! This is also a great way to encourage your friends so you can make up your own group of 4 people and just ski with your buddies or family members.

The Ride Guide, the ski and snowboard TV show that is shown in 60 countries and 60 million households paid us a visit in January in order to film the amazing conditions and terrain in our vast tenure.
The show features local Golden boy Justin Baun and Leah Evans from Rossland, BC. In the summer Justin fights fires and in winter he rides for the Ride Guide. Leah competes in international free-skiing competitions and manages her own company: www.girlsdoski.com. Girls Do Ski offers 2 day camps for women interested in improving their skiing and who want to learn to ski the whole mountain, not just the groomers. It's a perfect way to warm up for heli-skiing! Again, thank you all for a great season. We hope to see you in the helicopter next winter!
Cheers,
