Ohhhh yeeeaahhh baby!! We are opening early due to the phenomenal conditions!

I was on the phone yesterday to ‘Harry the Dreamer’, one of our regulars, who was asking why, with all this great snow, we weren’t already heli-skiing. The skibum in me totally agreed with Harry, but I knew the logistical side of it... guides need to be available, lodge staff need to be trained, the lodge needs to be setup etc etc. blah blah blah. The main reasons we usually start after Christmas is due to demand and snow-sure conditions.

Well, now we are getting demand and the conditions are AWESOME! After getting off the phone to Harry I went and spoke to Greg, owner of Great Canadian Heli-Skiing. Fortunately Greg was as enthusiastic as Harry and I. So we fired off a few emails to make sure we could secure a helicopter and that the guides could make this work.

Sure enough, Canadian Helicopters (the biggest helicopter company in Canada) confirmed and head Guide, Greg Golovach, kept it simple saying “The sooner the better!!”. So we are all as stoked as you to get out heli-skiing!

Here’s the deal. There are only 12 spots available, so first in, first to fly and ski!

The details:

Date — Friday December 11th to Monday December 14th. Heli-skiing Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
Numbers - minimum 8 with a max of 12 guests
Confirmation — you must confirm with full payment by this coming Monday (Dec 7th) by noon, Mountain Standard Time. We will confirm with you that the trip will go ahead as soon as we have 8 people or by the end of the day on Monday. So the sooner you book, the better!!
Rate - $4500 + tax, double occupancy.
Includes — first tracks, faceshots, bragging rights, 3 nights accommodation, all meals, powder skis/board, avalanche beacon and Unlimited Vertical!
