Hi all.
I hope you've had a great summer so far. Old Man Winter is knocking on our door as we've had a good dusting of snow on the upper peaks here in Golden and all over BC. Of course this has got us excited, but just as exciting is that Great Canadian, in additional to heli-skiing, will be offering skiing/boarding from a gondola, chairlifts and snow-cats this coming winter!!
Say what? Yes, you've read right. Great Canadian Heli-Skiing has teamed up with one of the best resorts in North America and Canada's version of Jackson Hole , Kicking Horse Mountain Resort and the best cat-skiing on the planet, Chatter Creek!! Just like you we are powder addicts! As a skibum I have always dreamt of creating the ultimate powder safari........... and now we have! If anything says BC Powder, it is our new combo packages!
Great Canadian Heli-Skiing is fortunate to be located in the middle of British Columbia 's powder producing epicentre... or as I like to say, 'epic-centre'! Because the region is blessed with so much snow, all types of ski operations have popped up. Within 30 minutes from the town of Golden , there are all sorts of world-class heli-skiing, cat-skiing, resort skiing, snowmobiling and backcountry lodge options.

In order to experience what this amazing region has to offer, we have created several combination packages that will let you see why our winter wonderland is a mecca for powder fiends.
If you would like to get your 'ski legs' back before going heli-skiing, or just want to ski the biggest vertical in the Canadian Rockies region (a whopping 4,133ft/1,260m), make sure to check out Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. Haven't heard of it? Well, think of skiing Chamonix or Jackson Hole with Canadian prices. The terrain and the scenery are awesome.
Another operation that is a MUST for any keen skier is Chatter Creek Catskiing. What is 'catskiing'? It is like heli-skiing, but instead of using helicopters, they use 'snowcats'... i.e. snow grooming machines that are capable of carrying groups of 12 people in a comfortable cabin on the back of the cat. Chatter Creek's snow and terrain has become legendary, appearing in many ski and snowboard magazines and movies.
And of course there's us, Great Canadian Heli-Skiing, where we offer you the best in REAL heli-skiing....Unlimited Vertical (i.e. no extra vertical charges), small groups of 4 people, easily accessibility and extremely few down days.

This is every powderhound's dream trip! You will experience huge vertical, amazing powder snow, sick terrain and great accommodation and meals....I want to try it out for myself! This tour is based on 9 days or more of skiing, with 3 days at the Jackson Hole of Canada, Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, 3 days at Chatter Creek catskiing and 3 days of heli-skiing at Great Canadian.
This epic tour is a self-drive trip.

| Monday | Ski/board Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. |
| Tuesday | Ski/board Kicking Horse Mountain Resort until midday then drive to the Chatter Creek heli-plex (35 minutes). |
| Wednesday | Ski/board the steep and deep with Chatter Creek Catskiing! |
| Thursday | Ski/board the steep and deep with Chatter Creek Catskiing. |
| Friday | Ski/board the steep and deep with Chatter Creek Catskiing. After skiing, drive 25 minutes to Heather Mountain Lodge, the homebase for Great Canadian Heli-Skiing. |
| Saturday | Rest day. Activities could include a 1 day heli-skiing add-on, resort skiing at Revelstoke Mountain Resort (60 minute drive from Heather Mountain Lodge) or Lake Louise (just under 2 hours), a day of snowmobiling (30 minutes from lodge or Golden) or shopping in Banff (2.75 hours). |
| Sunday | Heli-skiing the amazing snow-choked terrain in the Selkirk and Purcell mountain ranges. |
| Monday | Heli-skiing with Great Canadian Heli-Skiing. |
| Tuesday | Heli-skiing with Great Canadian Heli-Skiing. Last day of trip. Pay deposit for next year's trip at this year's prices! |
